Participants expect to learn all the nuts and bolts of running a strong campaign. But what they’re happiest with is the friendships and connections they build. The Emerge Vermont family is there for you, no matter what.
What does that look like? From the friendships that last long after graduation to the ongoing campaign support—volunteers, mentorship, contributions, advice—Emerge Vermont alums stick together and that kind of support is essential for women candidates.
There’s other benefits too. Graduates of our Signature Training Program and our Candidate Bootcamp receive access to our alum mailing list to use on their campaigns. Our executive director offers general campaign guidance and one-on-one coaching to all alums and trainees on request. Professional development opportunities just for alums—like our Legislator Toolkit Webinar Series, cybersecurity webinars, and more—are available throughout the year.
