Read moreAmanda Kay Gustin is Director of Collections & Access at the Vermont Historical Society, managing statewide projects, exhibitions, public programming, and the archival and object collections. She is also active in civic life in Barre City, as an elected Justice of the Peace, Chair of the Board of Civil Authority, Vice-Chair of the Planning Commission, and Chair of the Barre City Democratic Committee. She believes deeply in the vibrancy and community of Barre and Vermont. Amanda holds degrees in history and museum work from Middlebury College and Tufts University and will be a 2023 graduate of the Vermont Leadership Institute. In her spare time, she trains her rescued mustang horse in dressage, runs a small Etsy business, renovates her 100 year old house, reads scifi and fantasy books, and travels and camps with her dog and husband.
