Read moreAmanda Kay Gustin is a City Councilor in Barre City and the Vice Chair of the Vermont Democratic Party. She has been a leader in flood response and resiliency, grassroots and community organizing, and serves as national Co-Chair of the Training Committee for the Association of State Democratic Committees. She is a graduate of the Snelling Center’s Vermont Leadership Institute, an Emerge Vermont alumna of the class of 2023, and serves on local boards including the Aldrich Library, the Barre Salvation Army, and Barre Up. In her day job, she is Director of Collections and Access at the Vermont Historical Society, where she oversees the museum and archival collections, the exhibit program, and statewide research initiatives. In her spare time, she can be found riding her horse, hiking with her dog, renovating her 100 year old house, or reading books.
