Growing up in rural Alaska, she learned from an early age that everyone has a role to play in building healthy families, a resilient community and children who thrive. She is a dedicated advocate for addressing the social determinants of health and is active on several Vermont and national advisory boards. Daisy has worked on mental health and substance misuse initiatives in every state and on global health projects in India and the South Pacific. She speaks Bislama and is learning ASL. Daisy earned her MA in Science, Society and Development at the University of Sussex, UK.
