She graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor’s degree in Government in 2013, and in 2015 she graduated with a Master’s of Science in Health Systems and Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh. For 3.5 years Ellie worked in Washington D.C. in policy and communications for a non-profit focused on economic development advocacy on behalf of Native American tribal governments before moving back to Vermont. Recently she accepted a position at the Howard Center in Burlington. Outside of work, Ellie is an avid long-distance hiker and keeps herself busy with Champ, her 1-year old goldendoodle puppy.
