Prior to joining the AGO, Erin taught Immigration Law and led the Vermont Immigrant Assistance project, where she and her students provided free legal representation to non-citizens with humanitarian immigration cases. Erin grew up in Wyoming, but moved to Vermont when she was twelve. She now lives in Burlington with her husband and her kids and their dog, Reggie (who some call Gomper). Unlike most Vermonters, Erin avoids extreme sports in cold weather, preferring instead past-times like looking at art, walking in the woods, floating on Lake Champlain, building bonfires, reading books about sailing adventures gone awry, and writing snappy jingles about her family and friends.
