Jayme Bauer

Jayme Bauer is a Community Development Specialist for the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development. She helps manage housing assistance programs, co-authored the 2024 Statewide Fair Housing Analysis, and is the lead for a legislative-driven study on establishing a statewide land bank in Vermont. Jayme moved to Barre in 2022 from Cleveland, Ohio and loves it here. She is on the Barre Development Review Board and active in the Greater Barre Democrats. She is passionate about inclusion and creating fair access to housing and economic opportunities. She is an avid quilter and gardener, and can be seen on her porch working and relaxing throughout the spring, summer and early fall.
