Emerge Vermont’s Class of 2023 Graduation Celebration

The Emerge Vermont family is gathering to honor our 10th cohort!

2023 is our 10th anniversary year, and we’re excited to celebrate the amazing members of the Class of 2023, the 10th cohort to participate in our training program!

This class has shown an incredible amount of grit, heart, resilience, and passion as they successfully completed their 70+ hour Emerge Vermont candidate training. In every way, they demonstrated who they are as leaders. As our nation grapples with constant crises, the fight against racial injustice, and international discord, we need them in elected office now more than ever.

We’re super excited to announce our keynote speaker—Virginia Delegate Danica Roem!

Del. Danica Roem is the first openly trans, seated state legislator in the US. She’s also a candidate for the Virginia State Senate, executive director of Emerge Virginia, and author. We’re incredibly excited to welcome her to Vermont!

We’ll also enjoy remarks from Vermont Speaker of the House Jill Krowinski and our 2023 Class Representative. It’s going to be a great evening!

We’re so excited to honor this class’ hard work and commitment to service. Please join us as we introduce them to the Emerge Vermont community and welcome them to the Emerge Vermont family!
